The Story of Jesus Whore
Dear Reader -
This marks the debut of a recurring tale about a young woman (late 20s) whose fight with good and evil results in her praying to God for a man, sleeping around, repenting for her sins and starting all over again.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the story of Jesus Whore.
She is smart, funny and attractive. She holds down a great mid-level job and has a college degree. Saturday night she is in the club dropping it like it’s hot but come Sunday morning she is well coiffed and leading the testimonials.
J Dub knows she is a hypocrite. Even knows she’s a hypocrite but that doesn’t stop her from sleeping with a dude in the bathroom of a lounge and holding a prayer luncheon at her house within a 24-hour span.
When J Dub is single, she’s at church throughout the week, organizing church events and prayer circles. Yet, when she is coupled up or getting d*cked down you can’t find her anywhere.
She is currently missing.

I stopped going to church for my own reasons but i remember seeing this one young lady in a club who used to go to church when i left. she was wearing a top showing her cleavage and when she saw me, she looked like she saw a ghost. I aint even care….but she was married. And if I were her husband and saw what she had on at the club that night, I’da def said something…..

I’ve been that girl. It was a struggle between who I was comfortable being (a club going, sex having chick) & who I actually wanted to be (a non hypocritical devoted Christian secure in her faith & herself). It’s so easy to point out what seems to be a major life flaw like that in someone else, but rarely do we see the war that wages on the inside of them. Most who are living this “double life” are seeking to fill some deep voids. They have some idea that Jesus is the answer but may not have strong support system or a church they can trust to lead them into true relationship with Christ. As a result they resort back to the club/sex life because it numbs the pain & fills the void if even for a moment. It was extremely difficult to win that fight on the inside of me but through Christ, I did! I’m a minister now & I teach & counsel young ladies facing this very same issue.
